My first time having Nick the Greek! Did an Ubereats pickup order and got the beef/lamb gyro with fries on the side (there was a buy 1 get 1 free offer). The gyro was delicious! I just wished there was more tzatziki sauce. The bread was soft and fluffy and the onions and tomatoes were fresh, meat wasn't dry and well seasoned. I thought the location was so fun on the cutest strip of Redwood City with lots of lights, actions, and people. When I came on a Friday evening they were pretty dead and the restaurant itself was a little gloomy. I would only come back if there was a BOGO offer, or else, I don't see how a gyro is almost the cost of a bowl of pho
Great option for a fast Mediterranean option. I come for lunch mostly and have their Greek salad or their souvlaki combo. The service is fast and the food good. Their salad comes with pita, yogurt dip and your choice of protein. For about $13 before tax & tip, it's a great deal.
Ok so the food is pretty darn good I will say. Super flavorful, great portions, reasonable price. Store inside is nice and clean. My issue: how is everyone doing online ordering?!? My boyfriend tried to go through their order system on google maps but it made him make an account (not unusual but annoying) and still wasn't working! Then we tried calling but after a few rings got sent to voicemail?? They're not listening to those messages babe
Nick the Greek is has multiple locations and I really like the meat sticks. I would have to say the fact it's a chain store brings it down a star. Their bowls are overpacked with rice, but the chicken was really good. If I'm back in town on business, I will swing by for some chicken, but I don't think I would go out of my way to go here if I lived local. It is above fast food, but definitely quick food.
Delicious spot right by where we are living now! I got the chicken souvlaki platter with Greek salad and rice. My husband got the lamb gyro and Greek fries. Everything was so fresh and delicious I can't wait to go back to get it again. Definitely want to try the baklava frozen yogurt they have next!
